Learnt the importance of having a valuable, rare, inimitable and highly organized business to have a competitive advantage and stand the test of time in a highly saturated market. Built business plans with assigned team members and graded not only the work produced at the end but also each other on our work ethic and performance. Awarded 3rd place out of 12 teams at the end of the program for an in-depth marketing analysis for the City of Georgetown's voting trends over the last few decades.

After a rigorous first year going through the fundamentals of art and design, students were given the chance to choose the discipline they wanted to pursue for the remaining 3 years, to deepen their understanding of the subject and of themselves. Of the 4 disciples of Architecture, Design, Fine Art and Film and TV, Akiko chose Fine Art, finally graduating with honors in Conceptual Art and Design. Her final thesis revolved around the vulnerability of human consciousness, and was represented through minimalism and sacred geometry.
